Rates, pricing and limits
Pricing limits – NDIS participants
Drive On Therapy will match the rates applicable for occupational therapy in the current NDIS price guide. The following pricing is applied:
- All Occupational Therapy Services is charged at $193.99 per hour
- Occupational therapist travel time is charged at $96.99 per hour
- Non-labour fees including parking and kilometre charges of $0.99 per kilometre will be applied for any travel associated with an appointment
- Travel will be charged at a maximum of 30 minutes to and 30 minutes from the location of service for clients within a MMM1 – 3 geographical area. Travel will be charged at a maximum of 60 minutes to and 60 minutes from the location of service within a MMM4 – 5 geographical area. Travel costs will be shared between clients where they can be clustered in the same geographical area.
Pricing limits – Privately funded clients and participants of funding schemes other than the NDIS
The following pricing is applied:
- All Occupational Therapy Services is charged at $193.99 per hour
- Occupational therapist travel time is charged at $193.99 per hour
- Non-labour fees including parking and kilometre charges of $0.99 per kilometre will be applied for any travel associated with an appointment
- Travel will be charged according to the time taken to travel to the location of services, and back to the Drive On Therapy usual place of business. Travel costs will be shared between clients where they can be clustered in the same geographical area.
Additional stakeholder fees
Sometimes it is essential for services to be delivered in collaboration with other stakeholders, such as a driving instructor, vehicle modifier or equipment supplier independent to Drive On Therapy. Any fees that may be incurred by external stakeholders to Drive On Therapy will be discussed with the client prior to commencing.
Occupational therapy driving assessments
Drive On Therapy provides the following price and time estimate below for our Occupational Therapy Driver Assessment services. These fees are considered an all-inclusive package to deliver the initial assessment and report. This includes travel, with the exception of fitness to drive assessments where travel costs will be confirmed at the time of making a booking. These fees are an estimate and subject to change based on individual needs of the client.

Occupational therapy capacity building sessions
Drive On Therapy provides Occupational Therapy Capacity Building sessions in the format below, to accommodate session preparation and case note time along with the face-to-face appointment time. Session preparation and case note time is capped at 30-minutes (0.50 hours) combined for any sessions of 1.50 hours or longer. Please note an Occupational Therapy Driving Assessment must be completed before capacity building sessions can commence.
