Drive On Therapy expands services to the Peel region, including Rockingham

Drive On Therapy has announced a major service expansion, confirming that its specialised occupational therapy driving assessment and rehabilitation services will be available across the Peel region – including Rockingham – from late April 2026.

This expansion marks an important milestone for the Perth-based provider, which has experienced growing demand for high-quality, client-centred occupational therapy driving services across Western Australia.

By extending services south of the metropolitan area, Drive On Therapy will improve access for clients living in Mandurah, Rockingham, Pinjarra, Waroona and surrounding Peel communities.

Improving access to occupational therapy driving services in Peel

Founder and Operational Lead, Andrew, said the expansion reflects the organisation’s commitment to improving access to safe, evidence-based driving assessment and rehabilitation services across WA.

Many people in the Peel region currently travel significant distances to access:

  • Occupational Therapy Driving Assessments
  • vehicle modification trials
  • on-road rehabilitation
  • driver training and licence assessments

Expanding into the region means clients can access the same level of specialised support closer to home, with reduced travel time, shorter wait periods and more flexible appointment options.

Services available in the Peel region from April 2026

From late April 2026, clients in Peel and Rockingham will have access to the full suite of Drive On Therapy services, including:

Local partnerships for seamless service delivery

The expansion includes partnerships with local driving instructors and vehicle modifiers to ensure consistent, coordinated and high-quality service delivery across the Peel region.

Drive On Therapy’s model integrates assessment, rehabilitation and equipment trials to support safe and sustainable driving outcomes for people with disability, medical conditions and age-related changes.

Supporting independence across Western Australia

Andrew said the organisation’s goal remains the same:

To make driving safer, more accessible and more empowering for people of all abilities.

By expanding into Peel and Rockingham, Drive On Therapy aims to support more individuals, families and communities to maintain mobility and independence close to home.
